Well after deciding I didn't like the cheap look of m3's, and didn't want to lose my power option, I began looking for some carbon covers or other carbon mirrors, with nothing turning up, I tried to find some one to do an overlay because I didn't want to do it myself... After getting a quote back for $400, you better believe I made my own... Heres a couple pics, before and after I sprayed my candy green over it... They still need trimmed around the edges, wet sanded and another layer of clear but here's the progress:

I agree you should sell or atleast have people send you thier stuff, you do the work, and charge them the $$.

IDK if I like the mirrors. I mean the green c.f goes perfectly with your interior, but Im not sure if its gonna look right on the lighter green door vinyls. You gotta get pics up of this all together though!

Ursonvs- What is a folitec carbon sheet lol...

Nope no vacuum used, there is a few flaws in the fiber but nothing too major... I just couldnt see paying $400 for them especially on my budget...

Yeah I thought about selling some stuff on here but I'm still trying to get better at it... Oh yeah, There are no more bright side vinyls, the car is actually stripped down and is going candy green w. tinted CF hood, spoiler, gas lid, mirrors ETC ETC...

The clear was tinted using Alsa's candy concentrate (Very good product)

lol wasn't easy at all, especially around the edges and getting the carbon fiber all smooth... Once I get dont with my car, and practice some more I may decide to make some... Its very possible though just tedious, hell give it a shot.
