thanx alot for the opinion and expertise mang.. i will probably be going with the first ones, and getting them powdercoated, which will help with the whole oxidation thing. and i will probably throw a cotter pin thru the to lock it.

Can you post a DIY when you get done. I'd like to see taking apart the stock bumper with pix of the bolts. I've wanted to do some angel eyes for a while now and the only DIY on the bumper is a single pic which is pretty unclear. I'm sure I could figure it out, but I'm not the type to just take off my bumper on the weekend for fun or anything.
btw.. for the 2nd ones i meant to say they're best suited for something WITH hinges. They actually lock in and hold best kinda at a 90 degree angle. I don't know if they really suit your need, but they're maintenance free and will always work. smile.gif
also, make sure to use some big assed washers on the other side of the mounts for the first one. You would not believe the pressure you can pull from those suckers. It works like a lever. You push a little and it pulls alot.

i will definately do that DIY for ya.. and i will throw washers on the other side.. im thinking of even welding the bracket on the fender part, my dads friend tigs really well, and itll last longer, with no drilling needed..
