The only times you want to mold anything to your car... is either for small things like fender flares or for show. A molded nose or tail is a PITA to fix if you smack it into something, because chances are, it is going to crack at the mold points.

And yes, if you mold a kit on, you will have to repaint the whole car.

Mad's right, stay away from molding. Just get a kit.

Whoa! That poll screwed me up, I read your question first then took it asthis:
"do you have to repaint the whole car?"

-Yes it should (be re-painted)
-No it should'nt (be re-painted)

I did'nt see the question above about molding it! Damnit!

Yeah, if you mold it then hit a curb or something, fixing that would be a
big pain in the ass! $$$

I have molded my rear bumper and side skirts. You will have to repaint the entire car to do so. I drove it UN-molded for over a year and when I got used to driving it and being able to not scrape, then it was safe to mold it. NEVER mold the front bumper. You will have to learn to remove your front bumper if you want any work done to your car, or if you ever have to tow it. I've removed mine several times. It's also good to become friends with someone who owns a body shop, because you've bought the Veilside style body kit, you will need to repair it almost definitely sometime within the next year. Mine's a daily driver, and Veilside was not intended for Daily Driver vehicles. I have nearly 50,000 miles on my body kit, and have to repair the front bumper twice because of stupid incidents (found the curb a few times, head-on).
