Default Body Kits Part II

I'm not looking to mix and match different kits.I'm going to purchase the front bumper first and then the rear and side skirts of the same kit*The only and I mean ONLY reason I've been looking at the cheaper immitation kits is simply because of price. The Zefiro for the '97 is $1600 without shipping. My wallet isn't that big.Veilside doesn't even make a kit for the '97 which I just recently was notified of.I'm not worried about the fitment too much because my dads got a friend who does autobody (that is, if I can't figure out how to do it on my own).I was looking at grounddynamics.com and I found that Terminator kit.I think it looks pretty good but I can't for the life of me figure out how to take off and replace the rear bumper.Seeing that the keyhole for the trunk is right there as well. Are the bolts underneath or in the trunk space??BTW...do you guys think it'd look retarded if I had the front and rear bumper with the side skirts painted a royal blue and leave my car white? It's just an idea. Also I'm going to be fiberglassing the sub enclosure soon as well as painting the headlights white (rather than the blue).I've been looking at the Eurotails too because I agree with whoever said my tail lights look stupid lol.I hope my sentence structure is satisfactory.

One last thing.Would the body kit be wayyy too low if I leave my stock rims on??I've finally decided on the body kit before rims. The only thing that'll change my mind now is if the body kit would be dangerously low.

meh....satisfactory is not the word that comes to mind....

Dude, why'd you even ask that........paint your car ONE color please. Don't turn your outside into what you've done to the inside of your car...please!
Look man, you even said so yourself:

QUOTE (E.C.Customs)
it'd look retarded if I had the front and rear bumper with the side skirts painted a royal blue and leave my car white

For bumper removal check out www.hmaservice.com/webtech and look through the shop manual under body exterior, then rear bumber removal/components.

As for the kit, I have no idea what the "terminator" is and what it is a copy of, so sorry no help there.

As far as the paint goes, try to (or have someone) photo shop it. Make your decision from there. While I prefer to have my car one color (except for my CF hood), it is YOUR preference that matters. I have seen some kits that are different colors that look good. On the other hand, it just looks like they are not painted yet. There is a white Honda around here w/ a black kit. It took me a couple of months to realize that the kit was auctually painted.

Also, I would wait until you have enough money for the full kit and paint before you start.

i think veilsides look sweeter on RD2's... but I love them for RD1's, even though I'm not a huge Kit fan for our cars. Maybe it has more to do with Maryland and your car getting shat on from driving in toilet-sized potholes and run away shopping carts.

I did have a Vielside on my 97 tib I sold a month ago. It was a authentic VS. VS doesnt make kits for RD1's, so the front bumber and rear bumper I had modified at a body shop to fit.
