Default body kit paint

Can anyone tell me what an estimate on how much it would cost to get a body kit painted and put on. I just want to make sure i have enough money because i would hate to get the kit and not have it painted. Thanks if you can help me.

I fit my kit myself, so that cost $0. It did however cost me $900CDN to get the kit painted. It will vary from bodyshop though.

Is that like, a High price, or...average-ish?

That will pretty much be average. It will all depend on where you go. I had a quote from another place, and they quoted me at $1200 to paint.

It cost me like 1800 for my Cuda II cause it didn't fit very good...but i also live in the Seattle area which made the price jump a ton. I got avg quotes for like 1500 for fitment and paint. Just be careful which kit you buy and who you buy it from cause mine didn't fit very well.

I bought the original Cuda designs kit and I'm sure it would have cost me and arm and a leg to get it fit and painted. I'd have a sweet looking Tib in my laneway, but no money for gas to drive it. lol laugh.gif:

Also depends on what quality of paintsmanship you want. $725 for paint seems very cheap and I highly doubt that it would last very long... buying the cans of paint alone needed to paint a car cost hundreds of dollars.

To get a medium quality paint job from a person that I know does good work, I was quoted $1800-$2,000, depending on my color choice. My Dad's Nova cost $6,000 to paint. It all depends on the quality you want to buy...
