^^^ I think he just did a damn good job of welding some pieces of metal on his hood. I think.

You think? Looks like he just got it to sit MORE flush with the car or something... or maybe moved the assemblies up? I don't know. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll see this post. lol

I'm leaning towards Cuda so far. Just need to know if there is a dual exhaust possibility for our cars

i say if your going with a kit, and thats your style go with the cuda HANDS down. i have a few reasons why, and other suggestions.

first reason, it looks 100X better on the rd1.

second, VS style is over played, and like i stated in another thread your bumper will have about a 98% chance of not looking like that, but itll be the one thats about 5" higher up thats on mytibisrealghey's car. (mytibisrealfresh). thats one of the biggest reasons i say no on the VS.

i would HIGHLY reccomend getting those welded on eyelids and getting a nice mild spoiler for the car, you need something a lil aggresive cuz the look of the car will be so..

personally if I was modding a rd1 body wise.. f2 front w/ HD lip, king sides, king molded rear lip, shark spoiler.

thats my opinion but like they say, opinions are like assholes, everyone has them.

for the dual exhaust they dont make one, but you could get a custom one done for about 300-400$ including all parts, and install. all they do is split off the one pipe near the rear to give you the dual exhaust look, or you can sped more money and go with a more TRUE dual exhaust, but i reccomend going with 2.5" piping for where your single exhaust would come out, and 2" piping where it splits off to the duals, this way the exhaust would tend to flow more thru your main exhaust.

There's a dual exhaust for the rd2 by cadamuro. I dunno if they have it for the rd1 though:

I was thinking about splitting off of the main exhaust, but i thought that would be a bit ghetto... Would it flow right, or give me any bad restriction?

s there any company that makes a dual exhaust for an RD1? Either that, or is it possibly to modify a single exhaust into a dual?

sasmokin.gif my friend, have you been living on the outskirts of a burning city? there's barely barely barely a company that makes a single exhaust for us at this point and they've been waiting 5 months for 10 orders to be made. so why would there be a company that makes dual exhaust? sasmokin.gif

it is possible to go dual exhaust. buy two magnaflow mufflers , one high flow cat, 2.25'/2.5 mild steel piping, then buy an exhaust splitter from summitracing and have a shop/meineke fit it toward the under the axle, then have them bend it the right way and secure it under there. the piping for the left side would be behind the rear bumper.

it's not hard, you can do anything with exhaust man, it's just an outlet.
