Hi guys, I'm just curious will body kits for the GK fit the GK1 as well and vice versa, or not. Thanks.

 

Um, are you referring to the 03-06 GK and the 07-08 GK? If so, NO. Body kits for the 03/04 will fit the 05/06, since there was only minor modifications. As far as I know, there is only 1 body kit currently available for the new GKs.

We're mostly focused on the RD series (RD1 and RD2), not the GKs. Go to newtiburon.com for that. But as purple said, they won't fit at all between the GK and the newer generation (which I'm assuming is the GK1? never heard that term before). If perhaps you mistyped and meant to say RD1 and RD2, then SEARCH! Been covered way too much.

 

From the way most folks label it, it's...

03-04 = GK
05-06 = GK FL1 (Facelift 1)
07-08 = GK FL2

 

I mean 03-04's and 05-06's I'll check out newtiburon.com as suggested in the future for those years.

 

hey are not interchangeable, but most of the technical things are.

 

to the eye, i noticed the 03-04 have a more dodge-ish looking front clip, gills in fenders, and tails w/ amber corners-...

on the 05-06 gks, the front is more of just an arch, the gills are more like vents w/ and airfoil shape, tails more resemble that of an rd2, and i believe the rear bumper differs as well.

as far as mounting points for the body panels-... i have no clue, sorry!

 

As I stated before, GK 03/04 kits will fit GK1 05/06. Importshark also has the body kits listed as "GK 03-06"

 

Ok to answer your question, a kit is interchangeable between 2003 and 2006.
