Just wondering what you guys/girls think of these headlights.

http://performancestylingcentre.com.au/frmain.htm

Yes, i know they'd have to be from shark racing sad.gif , but i think they look kinda nice.

Also, they say they use H1 bulbs. Does this then mean that the 9006 & 9005 Low/High beam bulbs that we use won't work? Or did i just make myself sound like an idiot?

Thanks! fing02.gif

Thats my car that they are using. PSC are trying to raise interest in them. They are planning on making some of their own to sell, because the Shark Racing set I have are really expensive and not many people are willing to part with that kind of cash for a set of fancy headlights.

Im not sure of what type of globes the US uses, but here in Australia we use H1 like Korea.

As for painting the headlights yourself, couldnt you just pull the lens off, cover the silver with some kind of paint stripper (or oven cleaner), clean them up and then give them a covering of whatever color you wanted to use?

^ I lightly sanded/rubbed the chrome part off before painting.

I've pulled my headlights apart at least 5 or 6 times now (kept re-doing my AEs & painting the bezels differently)... the more I did it the less patient I became & now the edges between the housing & the glass is a bit fuxored up sad.gif

But if you spend a minute to think about exactly what you are wanting to do (colour of paint, finish of paint, LED or EL wire AEs, etc...) before you pull them apart, you can get it done right the first time & all whithout making a mark on the headlights fing02.gif

The SR ones look pretty cool but $600 for some stock headlights that required 1 or 2 hours of customisation is pretty crazy, IMHO.

$600 bucks for something very original, seemed like a good deal to me, paid more for less in the past, lol. The head light is almost totally remanufactured, the bezel is remade in black plastic, not just re-painted.
