The DIY says to put them in oven....i would probably end up blowing up the kitchen lmao.gif i always get some random part that just doesnt work... mad.gif

I might look into the DIY aswel..but dunno..im too scared to do that owned.gif

i put mine in oven and they came out allright its just the otherside of lights is burnt tohell and back. its all brown and bubbley from where plastic started to melt thru the rack

You had them in there too long then. Generally, the headlights are VERY easy to take apart. It is the corners that like to crack.

you wanna re seal them with silicone when you do it tho.. right? im just gonna paint the chrome hi beams reflector black too.. wont really need hi beams with HIDS smile.gif

no, the glue stays in place and reseals when you heat everything back up and put it together. if you notice condensation then throw some silicon around it.

You would probably fail inspection with black painted high beams. Remember, they are not only for seeing, but are also a signaling device.

Did mine today with a heatgun Very,Very,Very easy heat the seam a little and pull apart ...DONE. I can post pics tomarrow if you want.

^^Yeah, I was thinking of having them painted the same color as my car when I get it repainted. I just don't know how it would look though. I might just go with black to be safe. Did you guys use gloss or flat black?
