what paint is better for a complete repaint for a car...enamel or lacquer...heard both are good but wanna know which is best

glassurite..(misspelled?) the stuff that your high end german cars use..

For a beautiful job though.. you just cannot do better than a ten coat lacquer job with clear coat.. if done correctly (and this is the hard part) you will get such a deep shine you could almost fall into it.. especially in a black car.

I don't think you're supposed to use enamel... I would use dupont or, I forget the other.. ppg? andrew (supermanshark) or visionz would know. Try to PM andrew so he can get back with you immediately.

ahhh yes hok is one of the best...... tri stage paints.. ummmmmmmm!!!.. yes ppg is also another as well.. i get goos deals but still hok is the best.. my motto is "we live in america, you get what you pay for" (pay cheap sh*tty paint, get cheap sh*tty job)
