Looking to buy aftermarket 17x7 rims and tires for my 03 GT. I am looking at the Motegi DPK,FF7 and DP6 as well as the Konig Trouble, Next and Appeal. Any ideas on the best looking rim and best size tire for the Tib?? I need some meat on the tire as I drive in the city and there are alot of potholes to deal with... 8O

Default Best looking Wheels and tires for 03 GT??

I'm looking at buying some Centerline RPM 17x7's when I get tax return back, they only weigh 14.5 lbs, and are damn pretty IMO.

ok

#1.) dont double post threads. there is absolutely no reason for you to have posted THE EXACT same thing twice. yeah one has ???s and is in bold, the other is not. DO NOT do this again.

#2.) This is primarily a First and Second generation tiburon forum. We can give you advice about this topic. (i personally will not) BUT you may have a better time over at www.newtiburon.com ......they can be asses but almost all of them have the same car as you. our tastes are a little bit different, becuase our cars have much different body lines.

If you have alot of potholes in your city, I would look into a forged wheel for durability. Tibwrc is right though, it would be wise to consult the newtib site as you have a different bolt pattern from us and they might be able to direct you better.

someone made a wrong turn at albuquerque

i agree though.. centerline rims rock

Rims pretty much come down to preference, so your best bet is to hit up a rim shop, look through all their manuals, then come home and look for them online.

Personally, the best rims in my opinion on a GK have broken spokes, curb rash, and big knife cuts in the sidewalls of the tires.
