I posted this a while back but searched for the exact title and came up wuith nothing (must of forgot to bring it over to the new site..), so I know it's a repost.gif but it's a lil' different this time anyway.
I got free arrow turn signals (the one's you see on Mercedes and big trucks on their side view mirrors) froma friend and would like to install them finally, now that I have my mirrors (thanks Sparticus, hopefully they fit!)
Each clear arrow has a sticky side you just stick onto the side mirrors and blends in with the mirror (sorta...) Each has a pos./neg. wire to route behind mirror through dash and to power source.
I believe I am correct in assuming the turn signal power/ground wires come out the back of the hazard switch (just don't know which wires...)
Can some webtech wizard (tibby01 or anyone else familiar w/ the site) help me find the correct wires to tap into?
I say "tap" but hopefully I will be soldering by then.....

Yes, blinker wires would be easier.
I'm also concerned with the wire being able to reach from the mirrors to the middle of the dash, they don't look THAT long. Oh well, they were free... 02.gif

^^gottcha! thanks
just gotta find out which wires are pos. and neg. coming out of the hazard witch for the turn signals (left and right respectively)

the thicker green/white wire(there are twog/w ones) coming out of the hazard is the power for the left turn lamp. the plain green one is the power for the right. just find any black wire or metal-->chassis screw to get ground, no point in running a ground wire all the way to the hazard.
