I would have to honestly say I have never siloconed (however you spell it) any of my aftermarket lights and have never had them leak. I had two diff sets for my Snivic and the altezzas for the Shark. Maybe i've just gotten lucky but i've never had a prob.

I tried putting a little bit of silicone around mine and it wasn't turning out right so I just left them alone. So far they have been fine without it, I get a little moisture around the edge (not where the chrome is) when I was the car, but it goes away in a few hours. My problem where I live is spiders, I swear there are are hundreds of them living in my car, and I have no clue how they get there. I caught one the other day trying to make a web in the edge of one of my lights rolleyes.gif
