Not sure if this helps
Mine says LS in the door jam also, but the touch-up paint that I got with the car (Hyundai brand) says:
Arctic Silver - 001HCPENLS - 040401
Those last digits might mean something!!! tongue.gif

UHm, Yeah, it does - Unless your car was in an accident and they were stupid enough not to put the VIN plate back
2000 and 2001 are either BX - Bright Silver or LS - Artic Silver
The TW silver as far as I know is not until the 2001 XDs or 2003 GKs
And not all Silvers were the same, I can almost gaurentee you that it is not TW, LS most likely, but some 2001's still had BX
Or just call your local dealership and give them your VIN #,... they will tell you..

No, alot of tiburons do not have a color code on it. Mine has the box unstamped.
But, you're right. I was looking at 2005 color codes. click here for what the dealer will look up. LS or BX http://hmaservice.com/index.jsp?SSOSESSION...7aN%2FyImoZjpae

lol! no it was in a bad accident. thats how i got the body kit. total damage plus paying to repaint the whole car was 12000. they should have totaled it but the adjuster estimated it at six grand. the tag is not on the door anymore. the accident was like three years ago. ill post the pics if i canh find them
