With the front of my car being resprayed in a couple of weeks to have all the rock chips removed, I want to get a clear bra. I know 3M and some other companies make really high quality ones, but Im wondering how hard are they to install? Alot of shops charge upwards of a thousand dollars for them, which is quite a bit of money for just clear vinyl. Im sure most of the cost is for the install, since materials cant be that expensive. If I buy the stuff myself, is it really difficult to put on? Do I need any special tools to do it?
