Again, try starting your car and letting it idle for 30 to 60 seconds before turning your lights on.
Let me know if any of you that DO THIS have problems as often.

I let my car idle when I start it up for a few minutes, and before I turn it off I let idle for a few minutes. So in essence I'm doing what you say to do Redz, and I haven't blown a bulb yet... I've only had the car for 5500 miles though... I think one of my reverse lights is out however.
lol idk if thats the probelm, whenever i get in my car i instantly turn on the lights first thing after seat belts, and i instantly drive off, i didnt have the original lights on that long but ive had HID's for a long time now and never have any problems with them.
I will try that redz. it sounds like thats most likely what the problem is. my friends who own other cars turn theirs on right away and havent had any problems but we all know hyundais are different. thanks for the tip. ill try it next set i get
I've had my Tib for a little over 8 months now and so far, I only had to change out the passenger's side headlight about 3 months after I bought it. That's expected from me, though. The driver's side is fine. However, my driver's side fog light is out. I'm going to be buying a whole new set of xenon bulbs pretty soon though, just because the headlights are horrible as far as lighting up the roads in my neighborhood. There are lots of trees and very few lights, so visibility is horrible. I want something inexpensive and illuminating.
showoff.. if that is your car in the avatar.. you are like me and own an Rd.. it is only the later RD2s that seem to eat headlights like candy, it must be a weakness in the H7 lamp or as Redz suggests, a voltage problem indiginous to those cars.
