I found this DIY on the net and was wondering if anyone has ever tried it and is it really as easy as it shows?

That's about as simple as it gets, but if it works it works right? There is obviously no sort of quality control in that setup but it seems they only wanted to do it for the looks. I'd skip 23/25 of the jumper wires and just connect the 9V batteries to each other directly, but if you have the jumpers, whatever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anodizing
