Aluminum Foil - good tool for painting?

You wouldn't think that aluminum foil would have a place when painting stuff but it can come in very handy. It works excellent for covering difficult to tape objects that you don't want to get painted or get paint overspray on, like hoses in the engine bay etc and its excellent for covering irregular shapes. Some things are a real bugger to tape off, just wrap some aluminum foil around it. Takes a fraction of the time compared to taping.
