I've waited since March, a little longer won't hurt at this point. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure they should arrive before the end of the year. My gf ordered them for my birthday back in March. I guess it'll be used as a Christmas gift now. frown

i ordered mine on october 22nd i think in 2001 they said that they have been shiped to the cali. shop but they may have been held up becuase of that strike going on i think i heard like a 5-6week backup so i really hope i get my tails before X-mas lets hope for the best

The backup in the Pacific ports was only 8-9 days at it's worst. Not 5-6 weeks.
Right now San Diego is running 1 day behind, Long Beach is 3-4 days behind, and San Fran and portland are unloaded upon arrival (normal). This is just the container ships themselves.
The customs backlog may be worse, and ditto for any "receiving" companies that take care of the customs paperwork and store smaller shipments awaiting pickup from small companies like SR that don't have their own shipping people on a dock.
If you want an update, I highly urge you to e-mail SR for more info. Maybe if enough people ask, they will update the webpage, or send out an e-mail update.
