Aiming Lowbeams?
rd1s have this little screw and there's a level also ..
probably the coolest idea i've seen on a headlight, every once in awhile those little korean factory b****es comes up with a genius idea.
not sure about rd2 though, sorry just had to post.

all headlight systems have an adjuster. You will find though, when you adjust the lows, the highs move as well. That is just the nature of the beast.
Hopefully one of the RD2 folks can chime in how to adjust them.

Unfortunately RD2s do not have the leveling thing like RD1.
I made a post where I scanned pages of my owner's manual for adjusting lights. Do a search with my name, I don't post too often so it would not be too hard to find.

Amazing how poorly designed headlights are in the RD2 compared to the RD1. We get the bubble (which usually aims the lights too low), screws that are accessable from above, a degree indicator, and our headlights do not blow out every six months.
That mod is a good idea. Although I think I'll simply look for a hex head screw.
When my brother's '97 was adjusted by the bubble, he could only see 20 feet ahead of the car. So I'm not sure how useful that feature is. Degree indicators and easy access screws are good though.
Blown headlights are related to voltage spikes when you first cut the car on. Some bulb types are more sensitive than others. Waiting a few seconds before turning on the lights goes a long way towards solving that issue. I've been using the same set of PIAA bulbs since I bought them 10 months ago.
