QUOTE (Mad-Machine)
96, 97, and 98 Tibs had captive rotors instead of the more normal type the later models do. I see you have a 2000, so you should not have any problems in mounting those wheels.

Drilling them out doesn't sound like a good idea if your going to the extent of buying new rims...

Egh, 17's.

COmpare the weight between the 17's and 16's.

Oh, and how are the roads in your area?

yeah, but 17s look a lot nicer than 16s. unless you're really worried about performance, then get 16s or get forged lightweight 17s.

also, you have a 99+ tiburon so you will NOT have any issues mounting the rims like these guys have described.

imo, those are nice rims. how much? getting them with rubber? what color (i think theyd look best in HyperSilver myself)

16's are much lighter and don't damage as easily.

They also look NATURAL and correct on the tib. Your ride will be much smoother and you can drop the car further if wanted.

17's are heavier and prone to damage much easier.

They also look way too big on most cars and because of the thinner tires required, ride quality sucks ass.
