How good are these things?

i just hand washed my car and used the absorber to dry it. didnt have to ring it out once.

I have no prior experience with them. I find it odd. If they are all that and a bag of chips, I probably would have tried it. The website says it was designed 30 years ago. I dunno... They may fall apart quickly? I use microfiber.

They suck. They do a good job, but you have to store them damp, which breeds mildew... ick. Also, they collect dirt and are hard to clean. Rubbing dirt into your paint = no bueno.
