Default $70 for materials, $550 to install?

Been looking into getting a clear bra paint protector on my car and this was the cheapest quote I found. The materials I can understand but does it really take almost 7 hours just to install it on the front end, hood, and fenders?

Its just clear laminex vinyl, right? I would imagine its just like installing window tint. Spray the car down, lay the vinyl on the car, and squeegee out the water. How hard could it be, right? Thinking about maybe just trying to buy the vinyl myself and trying to install it on my own.
