No, the RD2 headlights are aimed too low, I know what you are talking about.

With the lows on it feels like you can only see 10 feet right?

But with the highs on you can see 3 miles.

I think the main problem is the way that they are aimed. Mine seem to only light up the road about fifty feet infront of the car and if I am behind another car they only shin about halfway up the bumper of the car in front of me. I've heard that it is easy to adjust them up, but haven't tried yet. You can get all kinds of different bulbs to change the color. I went with the super white instead of the kind that start almost looking blue. They do brighten things up, but I think the best thing is to redo the aiming on the projectors. Ebay seems to have very good prices on the white and blue bulbs. If you get them at your local parts store they will cost almost twice as much. Just look for 55w H7 bulbs in what ever color you want. I would not recommend going with a higher wattage since the wiring and other components were engineered for 55 watts.

Tibbychick may be able to chime in here about her HID's, I've heard they fix everything.

Im using HIDs on my 01 Tiburon and while it made it a little better-- i live in a city with basically no street lights and going around turns and curves, it seems as if i need to duck my head in order to see more than 10 feet in front of my car... (Soya HIDs-- i got them from a member on HP which i am STILL waiting on about 500 in parts from...)

Default Sold! My Pony is gone! Im down to 2 of them....

When I first got my RD1 I was upset about how poorly the Projector lamps lit up the road... then I discovered that they were more or less aiming directly down to a patch about twenty feet infront of the car. Since I realigned them.. I can see most everything I need to.

you can lift it up! there is a screw that will lift your beam and you will be able to see 50-70 ft ahead of you!!!
