2001 Tibby Angel Eyes?
Hey guys,
Are there angel eyes available for the 2001 tib? i found this do-it-yourself website that looks pretty cool.
Here it is..
Creating Custom Angel Eyes
Check it out, tell me any other alternatives if there are any. Would this even be possible with the tib's lights?
thanks
Sam

i saw that a couple weeks ago, and bought the stuff. it really is as easy as it looks. and it does look as good as you could want. i'm just waiting for warmer weather to take the front off the car and take the headlights out. i'm sure it'll be an all day event considering all the difficulties i've heard trying to separate the lens from the housing. and of the couple pics of 2nd gen with angel eyes, it looks really good.

No offense but the DIY is dumb....it will never be as good as the REAL HALOS that are made to be used for this..same as BMW made by HELLA. so when it looks like crap you know where to get me I sell them
I love you man but can you speak in clear, concise English? No offense but the DIY is dumb....it will never be as good as the REAL HALOS that are made to be used for this..same as BMW made by HELLA. so when it looks like crap you know where to get me I sell them
1. This DIY is actually one of the better I've seen and directly deals with the issue of the little cuts to make the light refract. Better than some of the other DIY's that SOME people have posted.
2. Hella? So what are you saying? Hella makes BMW's Angel Eye setups? Or that they sell an aftermarket kit to do that? Or that BMW Halos are made by Hella Companies?
3. You sell what now? BMW's? Hella BMW's?
Come on Jason...
Anyways, I think this DIY has the best examples of how this mod should look and how to hook up the resistors, ect. While this guy used an acrylic rod for his mod (Heh heh..) I personally am planning on some fiber optic cable that Majin and I found awhile ago. Using that and these cuts should prove VERY nice.
On second thought though, the acrylic rod bent like that would probably hold it's shape MUCH better than any softer material, especially in the heat of a headlight housing...
