Default 100% cotton or microfiber?

Theres a huge debate on which product to use when removing wax putting wax on etc. So which one do you guys use and prefer.

There is not a debate. Microfiber is designed to pick up fine particulate matter and they'll clog with paste or goo. Wax (well, some waxes) is full of fine particulates, in a waxy base. Unless you just want to waste wax and time, use cotton (if that's the only other choice) to apply wax. For removing any light dry dust including dry wax, microfiber pwns.
