Default 08 lancer canards on an RD2?? I think so

Hey guys I wanted to do something to my tib to make it stand out even more from the rest and so some ideas were flying threw my head and this is what came up... my girlfriend has an 08 Lancer GTS that she had the front bumper replaced, so before she took it in to have it done I took off the stock canards/lip splitters off cuz they kind of looked like they would match up decently... so here are pics of what they look like (Forget about the huge crack across my bumper lol)

I did drill holes in my bumper to attach the canards the way they are supposed to be mounted on the lancer, well I hope u guys like it...

Needs a bit of fitting still, but if that's the look you are after, that's one way to get it

I like different, it gets boring looking at the same old stuff sometimes. As for the fitment issues it really isnt much. The main thing is figuring out that 2" gap and to tell you the truth I actually have an idea. I would have to PM you some ideas. Plus, it would be great to get some member to give you some ideas as well. More ideas are better then one. Overall good job bro....

I actually like them less the 2 inch gap. Why do you have to mount them so far forward? I would try pulling them back so they align with the fender well, then use a heat gun to gently massage the contour of the canard to fit the bumper better.
