RedZ, maybe it gets heat out of the engine? Either way, it looks nice.

Bastard!

<marquee>LOL</marquee>

I guess I'm no areodynamics... Ehh... Or spelling expert either, but I just don't see how having them face backwards would work better than forwards. Wouldn't pushing more air in create a cooler engine compartment than sucking it out? Wouldn't that also change the air pressure under your hood if you were haulin *** ?

Teach me oh wise one.

what if is 100 degrees out..Do you really want 100 degrees to be blowing into your engine,

How do u think that hood would look on a silver car?

okay here we go....the vents create a low pressure system on the hood whih in turn sucks hot air out of your engine!! and in hte end cooling it...the faster you go the faster it sucks air out...atleast thats the theory...same priniple as ...trying to walk away from a fart...it just doesnt work....when you move you seperate the air and the methane gas fills in back of you rather then fresh delightful air!! *LOL* sorry for hte poor analogy.

I would get it if two things were fixed.

1. the holes were flush with the hood.

2. You had vents to go over the holes.

You can get those splitters from Team Prototype.

the splitter was custom made for Sonic. He's had it a LONG time. It originally cost him over $300.

(The units from www.teamprotoype.com weren't around at the time.) For the $$$, I think the team prototype units are hard to beat.
