Default Yellow stuff in catch can

Went to empty my catch can the other day and saw some yellow stuff in it. Didn’t look like fuel so any ideas what it is?

That's a water oil mix. Depending on the ambient humidity you will get more water. I usually see about a 50/50 mix.

Here's a pic of my self draining one from the last car in the winter.

And turns into carbon where the fuel spray doesn't wash it off.

LOL It had a good setup for a NA engine. There was a check valve on it that sealed when the engine was under vacuum . When the engine was off the valve opened and it drained.
