All I can say is....dang. Ha. I finally got the exhaust done today and it sounds beautiful. Its the sexiest sound Iv heard come out of a car in this area since...a long time.

But for real, whenn i picked the car up i was so nervous it would be buzzy, too loud, or just plain crapness. Shortly down the road i was grining from ear to ear. I was shocked at how well it sounded. For people that know me, i dont ever brag or even speak well of things i own or do. But i cant help to telling you guys that I love it. There is not one even little tiny bit of buzzing or "farting". It is so smooth and professional sounding. I took a whole bunch of video so in a half hour or so ill be posting them.

I went with a 2.5" aluminized steel, carsound hi-flo cat and magnaflow muffler. Its from the downpipe-back. Midas did it and charged $360. The muffler and cat came to $110, so for it all i spent $470. Seemed fair to me

That's awesome!! Glad to hear it.. it's one of my biggest fears actually - how the exhaust will sound.

I'm afraid how combining the OBX headers and a Motoria catback or an Ark will sound. Probably very buzzy, which is why I'm going with a crank pulley before exhaust, and then I'll have to deal with installing a hi-flow cat/glasspack and the like..

Post some of those sound clips up! And I'm definitely thinking about going with Midas to install my headers (IF I EVER GET THEM!! mad.gif mad.gif) but mechanics at this place nearby me should suffice.

^^ Most mechanics won't touch or install stuff that they didn't sell to you... and the ones that do are probably evil and will overcharge you. Do it yourself.

As for the clips, I'm anxiously awaiting them. wavey.gif

Sorry guys, i was going to post the clips up and then my girlfriend decided she wanted me to go to the beach with her at the last minute. Were back now, but im still at her house, so as doon as i get home they will go up.

Getting the mto install my cat was hard. I had to keep on bugging him and saying that i wouldnt be able to afford another cat. He finally gave in and i thought for the price it was a good deal.

Clips will be up as soon as i get home this afternoon.
