thats the gear oil that came out roughly 30mins after I got it back from the shop...

^^^ Sounds like someone F'ed up and didn't put enough gear oil in? That doesn't look lie near enough to me... Sorry, it's kinda hard to tell, but that's what I came up with...

That's definitly not 1.8 quarts of gear oil.

Remember to use either Amsoil MTG or Redline MT90

Its actually 2.3 quarts of gear oil not 1.8

I've been running the penzoil Synchromesh for years with good results. give it a shot. But honestly, give us a little info on why you're swapping, and why there's barely any fluid there. that looks like new dirty fluid too. WTF?

Your car is on jack stands in the GRASS. I dont know about the ground where you live but here the weight of my car would have made them sink and my car would now be sitting on the ground.
