HEY BigAl i have the same custom intake as yours at my tib..The filter is hanging like yours does....How much should i shorten the pipe in your opinion?????Do you think i should shorten it so that you cant see the filter from underneath the car????

Shorten it, whoever has it that low!

I don't know much, but I know having the filter break off would be terrible. Imagine smoking without a filter... your going to die, well the engine will die too without some sort of filter on there... rolleyes.gif

He's right, Sears mall regulation speed bump size should be able to take that filter out...but then again thats an anchorage municiple regulation...don't know how it is in your state...

at the bottom of the civic straight pipe put on a 90degree angle and run it in your fenderwell attach a metal adapter beteween that and the filter, there you go!!!
you can pick and elbow up at the local hardware store for 4 bucks, and a metal adapter at autozone for 1.50

I agree, don't make it shorter just take another 90 degree bend into the fender well.

since there isnt very much heat in the fenderwell just normall air duct boots work. go to a hardware store.
