I think Im going to try a "mild" wire tuck this weekend. Nothing too drastic, just to try and get the bay looking a little bit more clean.

If you dont know what im talking about, here is some pics...

*Honda Warning*

that one has like none showing...I still want some though...

Has anyone done this on the tib?

you almost have to get new wires for everything so that they can be extended to hidden places. it would look quite b****in, but that bay is just too bare for me to like.

its in my list of stuff to do, not for a while though.

But what if you had to work on what you hid? tongue.gif

Where are the wires hidden? Are they just lengthened to go under the wheel well panels and just behind the fire wall? Someone explain this to me please! lol

Casey, call me up when I get back (Jan. 7th) if you still are gonna do this. I want to help/learn about this.

I can help I guess, making stuff work is what I do best.

Yeah forsure Patrick smile.gif

Here are some more mild ones like I plan on doing.

here is a sr20 tuck

There is a tutorial on honda-tech.com what I am trying to locate..as soon as I find it I'll post a link.

But yeah, alot of it is just extending, zip tying, and trying to find clever places to hide shit smile.gif

Glad to see there is some interest in this, This is a great feature for a show car also!

^^CALEEEEN! hail.gif

All we need to do is remove the front two wheels and ALL lining panels (wheel well, and two under car).
Believe, me I saw tons of spot to hide wires when I was messin with the EVAp cannister on the gen1.

Make sure to do ONE at a time. Don't wanna get all mixed up and confused and have to bother tibby01 on AIM again. wink1.gif lmao.gif

I love the way that that looks. I would only do it if you want a show car and have plenty of time on your hands. If I were doing it there would be a problm somewhere and it would be taken apart many times trying to find it. It would be amazing if you do it, it would look great.

Yeah thats why im not gonna do a "full" tuck incase anything goes wrong, just wanna get rid of a few lines and wires here and there to help de-clutter a bit smile.gif

It would be cool to see a show tib with a full tuck

here is a quote I found from somone doing it...
QUOTE
Pick all the wires you think need to be tucked and tuck them in places less noticeable. It's just common sense to me and it really isn't hard once you get in to it. Just have zip ties and 18 gauge wire and solder ready to go.

cant be that hard obviously...just TIME CONSUMING

I am glad to see this mod catching on in the Import world. Air cooled Vdubs and your hotrodders have been hiding wires for years.
