The other day I got into my car and turned the ac on. The revs dropped to like 500, and then up to 800. Usually it drops a for 1 sec, and much less then that. It happens every time i turn the ac on, but the regular idle without the ac on is also a bit less then usual. And it jumps a bit up and down when starting the car. Any ideas of what this could be?

Well, the idle is supposed to change (ie. jump up) when you turn the A/C on.
and when you start the car, the idle takes a couple seconds to adjust itself, if that's what you are referring to. If the idle is just being eratic though, I would say that could be your MAF or TPS.

Could also be the idle air bypass solenoid acting eratically. Most likely TPS, unless you messed with your MAF.

^^^ Yup.

Whenever you have an idle problem, start with the intake system, i.e. looking for leaks and loose clamps, etc. Then work your way to the head, like plugs and wires, etc.

Glad it was a simple fix.
