This one I bought from 'REDZMAN' for $800.00 shipped and it has been coated.
This one I bought from 'Yamaha' for $450.00 shipped
Does anyone know what that port on the front of the tank is for? Did they produce one style on one production run and decide to eliminate it on the later production runs or vise-versa?

2nd one is for a beta2 motor. that port is for a map sensor. also you wont be able to use that one cause the fuel rail bolt holes are spaced wider apart, so a older beta fuel rail wont bolt up. also the throttle body from our older style motor wont bolt up to that beta2 style manifold. you really have no use for it sadly. its just not for your car. you could get it to work, but it would take a bit of fab work.

seeing that you paid 450 for it, you could definitly sell it for 600-650 on newtiburon.com or one of the elantra sites. so you could turn a profit on it. BUT, finding another manifold for sale will be tough.

I know I could eaily sell it for a profit which makes it slightly better, however I searched my @SS odd to find both of my Air Rams and I'll have a damn hard time coming up with buying a third one!
The search continues...
Well I'll see if I can come up with the correct Air Ram for my application.
If not can anyone walk me through mounting the Beta II Air Ram on my Beta I? At least post ALL the differences and how to correct them.

I could, but if I could find another Beta I Air Ram I'd rather just go that route. I just ordered (2) SeoulfulRacing 60mm BBTB's so I'd rather not change TB's.
If I find another Beta-I Air Ram intake manifold this Beta-II Air Ram intake manifold will be on the market to hopefully cover whatever the cost will be for the Beta-I..lol... Get all that?

In me earlier Sale post Redzman stated that the the fuel rail would mount up. Look at this thread for post #11.
You never posted a picture. That is the first Beta 2 AIrram I've seen thta didn't also have the Beta 1 holes.
Daniel, all you need to do is to either use the Beta 2 fuel rail mounts, or have the holes drilled out for yours. Should be cheap. Get a pic of the TB flange, it SHOULD have 5 holes, one of them offset. If not, just get the last hole you need bored and tapped.
