Why do all cars have a Vacuum diagram?

Default Why do all cars have a Vacuum diagram?

It must be a law or something, but i dont understand the importance. If you need to fix the vacuum lines, you will have to look in the manual just like you would to fix anything else. Why vacuum lines? It seems like there could be much more important information on a sticker. Like oil capacity, belt routing, engine specifications etc. Anyone know?

I'm going to tell you because it has to do with the emissions system they don't want it messed up. Probably some federal law thing.
