White smoke ?!?

Hey guys
Today right after a stop sign I decided to step on the gas just a little bit
aroung 4000rpm and I was looking at my rear view mirror when I saw a cloud of white/grey smoke ?!?
A little car info: new head gasket, no coolant loss, new oil 10w40 , new oil filter... installed new 6 puck clutch and new clutch pump and I'm driving like a granny these days ( break in period ).
I changed the head gasket, because I was burning coolant and there was white smoke , but now I don't think that's the case ! Double checked the coolant and it's to the max. I can't say if I'm burning oil , cause I changed it before a week.
I noticed something else...it's getting really hot these days and my exhaust sound is a little louder, but also if I lift my foot of the gas pedal and leave it in gear there are "bang" noises from the exhaust ! And I mean pretty loud banging :biggrin:
Can it be rich fuel mixture?
I hope it's not some head problem ! When I changed the head gasket I did some head work http://blitzrs.snimka.bg/tuning/head...26545.25292817 and also changed everything that needed to be changed.
All in all no coolant loss, I don't think it's oil, cause the head is repaired...
Any help will be appreciated

how many catalytic converters do you have?
haynes says white smoke is from unburned fuel emitted by the exhaust that indicates low combustion chamber temps
try doing a bit of a tune-up if you haven't done one in awhile.
any 02 sensor codes?

I don't have CAT for at least 3 years
Here in Bulgaria it's really hard to find somebody that can tune our ECU 
Also I'm not heavy modified ( 1.8 cam, PPIM, cai , exhaust, head work and NX wet kit ) I think that the ECU should manage those types of modification...
I'll try find somebody who can at least check it for errors.

Why do you use 10w, it should be 5w 30. Try that.
The bangs sound like backfire, which usually comes from the lifters (1/8 cam). If I remember correctly, white smokes is almost always oil related, and black smoke is misfire. White smoke could also come from burning coolant from a head gasket leak. But I'm no expert!

bluish-white. easy to call it white sometimes. White is steam, either from coolant or water vapor caused by normal operation. If you only see a little puff of smoke every now and again, and your oil and coolant look okay and you don't lose oil or coolant at an unusually high rate, you might not have a real problem at all.

As for the oil I believe 10W40 is the best for my region. f*cking cold winters - 20C and hot summers + 40C. I've never heard someone using that kind of oil( 5W30 ), even in my tibby's book it's written 10w40 for these temperatures.
The banging continues , but I'm happy that there is no white smoke at least for today :biggrin:

If you have no catalytic converters and you have banging from your exhaust, you might need a fuel tune on your engine management computer. Unburnt gasoline runs through, then burns with a bang in the exhaust pipe. Normally the cats will burn this off before enough accumulates to go pop. Thin exhaust pipes and exhaust headers will make these bangs louder. If it happens on a closed throttle and only every once in a while, again, not a huge problem.

Most of the time the bangs occur on closed throttle, but they happen very often. Sometimes even when change gears ( for example 2nd to 3rd ) I can hear some bangs !
I was thinking about tune up , but I'm a little nervous because of the nitrous
Our "tuners" as I mensioned aren't very familiar with Hyundai. If u own some european piece of sh*t ur cool , but in my case ... HUGE problem :angry:

Do u guys know something about Mafterburner ?!? Can I use it to tune my tib ? I read that it's really easy to use...or if you know some other way to tune my fuel mixture ? Also if the Mafterburner can tune my car why do I need chip tuning or standalone ?
