this may be a dumb question, but where is my ecu in my '01 tib?? i don't really know my way around my engine bay too well, but i'm learning.

the comp is probably not even in the engine compartment.. but probably up under the dash. Surprising my shop manuals do not tell you where evrything is.. so I cannot be more of a help than that.

hmmm well the reason i ask is because i'm tryin to hook up my air/fuel guage so maybe someone who has hooked theirs up would know.

Yes, it is behind the ashtray/radio....can't tell you much more than that I am afraid other than it look like a large hard drive.

that thing is the ECU? I almost ripped the damn thing off... it pissed me off and kept getting in my way while working under my dash tongue.gif glad I left it alone...

Come to think of it, I think the dealer told me at one time that box under the radio was part of the airbag mechanism.
