Where do you take your AFR reading from?

Pre cat, but that's hard to do if you're doing it on a stock exhaust vehicle. It should be about 12-18" downstream from the head, or after turbo.

I think it depends on the sensitivity of the wideband meter your using. Most consumer wideband systems are 5 wire and are very sensitive to fluctuations caused by a cat so you would want them pre cat. A 7 wire sensor is more accurate and isn't as affected by a cat converter so it can be place post cat.
