Unfortuantely Catco aren't very good cats according to several folks. The elements fall apart quickly and you don't get anywhere near as good flow as you do with the Random Technologies ones.

Not to mention the price....

I saw a high flow unit for sale in Jegs that looked pretty interesting. I forgot the name and I don't have the mag with me. You might want to check it out. It looks pretty small and supposed to flow very well but dosn't meet Cali emissions requirements.

You would have to use this one (Random Technology):

"The 8000 Series - ideally suited to 4- and 6-cylinder and dual converter V8 engines, 8000 series converters are extremely efficient. Available with inlet diameters up to 3", 8000 series converter bodies are 10" long, 6-1/2" wide and 4" thick. Universal models have an overall length (including end tubes) of 14". "

Just make sure you get the diameter that you need to fit your setup.

Just double posting so everyone sees this.....it is the response that they (Random Technology) sent me:

"That should be the #822500 (14" overall length, 2-1/2" in and out), we sell
it for $200.25. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any sponsorships or group
buys. Check with some of our distributors for buy-ins."

Redz....I hope that is the best damn cat ever made!!!!

200 sounds sorta high, I'd search around a bit. Buying from the MFR isn't always a good idea. LOL

so all I would have to do is find a Random Technologies high flow cat, 14" long with 2.5" in and out and it'll bolt right up? They're all universal besides inlet and outlet?? Has anyone found it cheaper than $200?
