whats the difference
afc(version1), very basic, uses manual knobs to adjust fuel.
safc(version2), blue screen with buttons, much better.
Safc2(version3).
Why get a safc when you can get a new better version. Basically does the same job, just not as well as the safc2.

From the Japanese tuning giants A'PEXi comes the new S-AFC II super air flow converter. With new features such as increased levels of adjustment to 12 points at desired rpm levels. VFD display (vacuum fluroesant display). Knocking level indicator, 2 types of memory setting so it can be used for circuit and street. Password operation so that there is no tampering by others, warning light for air flow use, intake pressure, frequency of karman sensor, knocking and engine RPM.

Same subject, has anyone installed BOTH of these in their tibbies? What's the difference in performance between the 2 when installed?
BTW, what's the price difference?

it's rather hard to find an S-AFC, they haven't made them in quite a while. When people talk about an S-AFC, they MEAN the S-AFC II. If you check interior shots, everyone has the S-AFC II.
There should be no real HP loss/gain from using one or the other, execpt that the display on the II makes it a tad easier to tune, and should, in theory, give more consistent/better results.

S-AFC(version 3) is the newiest. I like the idea of having memory settings. The only problem I heard of right now is there is no english version of instructions. But I am sure it is probably not that hard to figure out. Zuppy at new tiburon has it install on his gtv6. But I don't think he has had it tuned yet.
