sorry im asking so many questions just puttin in my direct port...i was just curious what the manifold flange was

 

the flange is like the part that attaches to the pipes to make it capable of being bolted on, hard to explain, say on a set of extractors you have 4 pipes and flanges on either end, that are used to bolt to the block, cat, flex pipe or turbo, whatever etc.

I think thats what you mean
