You should be able to get a free replacement/charge for your battery if you have the receipt. If it dies again, it's probably your alternator.

the majority of the time, when an altenator sh1ts the bed the battery light comes on.

the fact that you replaced your battery in january does lead me to believe that your altenator crapped out and probably took your battery out alont w/ it. was this a remanufactured altenator or a NEW one?

go to sears auto. Diehard Service Check will check the battery, charging/starting system, and check for a drain on the system. $13

well the thing with the battery light is....at least i don't think does. it doesn't come on...i don't think my battery light and e-brake light constantly glow (at a low pulse)...because of some reason i can't figure out yet...something with wireing under the dash or some shit...and my CEL is always on so i've got some extra light to help me see my speedometer...

my guess is that the it has to do with the alternator....i doubt batteries just shit like that in the 5-10 mins from when i last ran my car.

you might have a power wire grounding out somewhere, before the fuse box.

Take it to a shop and have your charging system checked. Sears will do a good job, and I believe that Advance Auto Parts will do (or used to do) a free check on charging systems. They will check your alternator if you bring it in as well. You could just have a bad battery as well, I have had that situation before, once.
