Default What does YOUR exhaust look like?

Hey guys,

I am rocking one of the turbo Rd's and I have a 3" exhaust from the turbo back, but it is rather bendy, it follows the stock route around the tank then even over the axle, I am planning on going turbo back then straignt under the car where it would normally run, then again around the tank, but under the axle, but i know that would make it have a slight up swept look and probably of kilter, towards the passenger side, which i wouldn't mind, just curious of everyones setup looks like so i might be able to get an idea of what the "JDM STYLE" will look like on the Tib?

Thanks guys

I wonder why more people don't go with exhausts that exit in front of the rear wheel and avoid the over/under axle question altogether.

Well for people like me that race either it be drag, circuit, or like to just go out and play on EMPTY roads from time to time it is not smart. Just for the fact that for some reason maybe you get oil or some antifreeze out of the tail pipe, where does it go, right on to your tire, then you try to brake into the next corner you lock up and slide into a wall... I will always put the exhaust in the rear of the vehicle, plus not sure if you have ever been behind a car with no cat or muffler, it smells horrible, our windows are pretty close to that rear wheel is, so if your sitting at a light, your probably gonna smell that all the time, plus I dont have AC so i always have my windows down!

I like to think about WORST plan for the BEST!!!

Plus i dont want that whole in my bumper empty!!!!!

Hmmm, could be cause it's illegal?

I have no problems here in TX, but other states would.

in MOST states the exhaust is required to exit past the passenger cabin area

classics are exempt though

Also, a 3" exhaust is gonna smack the ground on a regular basis if it's sticking out in front of the rear tire on anything but a truck. Those unibody pinch welds hang down quite a bit.
