Before this thread gets locked, I have searched and read for hours, and found nothing that helps. My check engine light was fixed when I put in my new O2 sensors, and everything was fine untill I decided to wash the engine bay. The CEL came on, and the code was P0441. Well, I replaced the gas cap as a first step, and had driven over 100 miles and all was good. Then I got a car wash, and in the wash it came on. So it seems something is getting wet, causeing this code to come on.

My thoughts were maybe some electrical short, but would have no idea how to trace it down. My other thought that I wanted someones opinion on was my Cold Air Intake. Could it be getting to wet, or sucking in water, causeing that code? The car was running both times, but I didn't know if sucking in some water/vapor/spray could cause that code. Any help would be appreciated because I can't find any other topics on this.
Thanks

I just searched for your code here, and this is the result.

11 threads, don't know how that takes hours, especially considering 2 of them are your threads.

Did you bother going to HMA Service and looking up the code to see what troubleshooting is?

Your CAI has nothing to do with the evap system.

This one right here has all the troubleshooting and tells you exactly what causes this CEL.

I have read may of those threads, but didn't find anything about how it would relate to water. There are a lot of potential things it could be, but I never found any one of them having the light come on specifically related to one component getting wet. I just wanted some ideas on which thing water would affect. Thanks, and sorry.

It probably has nothing to do with water at all. Coincidences are common in the car world.

Probably more like you have a short, or any of the other problems that can happen to an electrical solenoid.
