Ok well there were multiple sets that my parts store had available so I picked up the 2 closest and I'll just return the one that I don't use. My car is a 98.

One set says its for 2.0L 97-98
The other is for 2.0L 97 to 10/31/02

Which do I use? They have different numbers for the valve cover gaskets...

This one has the spark plug seals.

think either one will fit, not quite sure though. i have a beta2 valve cover that directly swapped on my '97.

I just wanna make sure, I don't want to open both boxes, it says non returnable if opened... so idk lol

theyre the same, use the one with spark plug seals just because they should probably be replaced anyway

ok thanks guys. I'll let you know how it goes when I get my 1.8 cam on wednesday.

Hmm, I've had my valve cover on and off several times and never replaced any of those seals, if they aren't leaking, I'm not replacing.

I'll see what shape they are in when I pop it open. If they look bad I'll replace them, if they look ok I'll use the gasket set that's cheaper(missing the spark tube seals). 1 set was $14 the other was $27
