THis is my 3rd time doin this trans, and it was somehitn holding it up... I took the trans off and my pressure plate had ground itself into the belhousing!! Im really frustrated but atleast I got the trans off.

Hows that problem with the rear mount?

all your gotta do is grind of the bottom of the lil 1/4" brace on the bracket, and you NEED to use the beta brackets.

just take the bracket to a shop that has a grinder, or if you have one, itll take like 15 seconds.. but theres too much material, and its too hard for a dremel tool.. well you could do it, but it would be a major PITA..

was the pressure plate unbolted? how could it grind into the bell housing.. damn me and you had some MAJOR problems getting that thing off.. mine was prob worse though..

puc wedged into pressure plate, and sliced though the bell housing, lol lmao.gif

yah the mount needs to be FLUSH with the lower surface..
