Hey guys.. maybe some bad news here.. well, just driving around today no problems, and then i am driving shift into 2nd... no problem.. go to shift into 3rd.. WTF, not going into 3rd.. so i threw it in fourth and went into this parking lot to inspect.. everytime i went to throw it into 2nd, even at low rpms.. syncros said hi... loud and clear. and im having all hard shifts, and trying to ease it into 1st or reverse, its REALLLY rough and chattery, no matter what rpm i let it out at..

what does this sound like? syncros?

i wouldnt think it would be clutch, cuz when i put in gear real fast, and romp on it, it doesnt slip or anything, engages really good and this clutch only has ~2000 miles on it, and i NEVER launch it. maybe 2 times since i have had it in the car...

yah the gear oil was changed.. could it be slave cylinder or something like that? the clutch has less than 2000 miles on it.. car has 65k total miles.. i have treated the transmission pretty dang good... maybe TOB, or pressure plate? sad.gif

alright, ill try it, after some more trouble shooting.. and otherwise some more info..

really chattery beginning to start off, even when reving to 3krpm. freakin hood shakes.. and double clutching seems to help.. so i duno... hope its not the transmission, and clutch seems to new to be going.. maybe since im leaking oil on the tranny side, oil is getting on the flywheel or something.. i duno im stretching a bit..

I doubt its teh tranny fluid unless there is very little in it.

It maybe the TOB or Slave cly.

I had a similar thing happen to me before and ended up being the Clutch disk. Even though the clutch showed no signs of slipping.

when all gears are hard to shift the most common cause its the clutch, all 3 syncros going bad at the same time its not a common cause. there is three syncros on the hyundai 5 speed transaxles.
check master and slave cylinder for leaks or internal leaks.
i took my atc clutch out last week and had less then 10K on it its gone now =( also damaged my flywheel.
seems like the TOB was stuck...

if i was basically OUT of tranny fluid, would this cause these problems... it looks like my drivers side driveshaft may have popped out again.. the diff (trans) is all wet around the shaft and the whole area.. only thing it can be is trans fluid lol .. omg, i feel dumb.. hope the shaft is popped all the way back in enuf.
