So I finally got the Elantra back on the road. It was driving fine for the past few days. When I left for work today at 1:00pm, I noticed it was acting rather strange. When I push the acceleration pedal down to 50%, it will take awhile for the RPM's to build then it will finally go. It will get to about 4,000rpm and then shift alittle hard. During highway cruising at 60-70mph is will be fine. I checked the fluid and its fine, no burnt smell and at the right level. Thoughts?

Turbo off of it now? If so, maybe it misses it. lmao.gif

Was it especially cold today or anything like that?

There is a CEL for the primary oxygen sensor. I believe Advance Auto sold me the wrong one.

I tried several aftermarket O2 sensors, but they don't work at all.

Buy the OEM O2 sensor from the dealer.

I think you might want to change your tranny oil.

Just over 97k. I'm going to get a filter and change the tranny fluid tomorrow. Also, I'm going to get the oxygen sensor from the Tiburon and try that.

Found my problem. Freewheeling stator in the torque convertor. Time for a new transmission.
