Default Transmission Fluid

this may sound like a dumb question, but i was just wondering how many miles i could rack up before my automatic transmission fluid needs to be changed? ive been to the dealer multiple times and they never had any concern for it, so im guessing im OK. i just wanted to check with you guys as well, because i love my tib and i dont wanna hurt her.
im just about turning 18000 miles right now.
thanks

Stocker buddy o'le pal, be nice to the newbies, at least for a while smile.gif . Auto tranny fluid should be changed every 30k miles or more frequently.

I had my tranny fluid flushed at 15k miles and I'm gonna do it again at 30k. I do this because I drive my car hard and I think it's cheap insurance.

Just for the record, The owners manual states every 30,000 miles (48,000 km).

Hyundai reccomends every 20 to 25,000, if you drive your car under "severe driving conditions" which just about everyone but your grandma falls into.

I. personally, reccomend that you change it once a year, regardless of mileage. I reccomend doing it in the fall/just before winter sets in.
